Hi,
We bought a puppy from you last November (I think actually is was from your daughter's litter). I thought you might like to see what a cute girl she has turned out to be.  This was taken about a month ago.  We are training Sam to be a service dog for my son Vann.  She is doing great.  She is learning lots of commands and has a great personality.  She is really a nice dog to have around the house.  She goes everywhere with us, shopping, restaurants, church, work, you name we bring her there.  Each day she learns more and more and gets more comfortable with all the situations she is presented with.  Thanks, Leslie Smith

Hello Donna, Sage is doing really great.  We are so happy with her.  She is such a sweet dog.  She is a still a little shy around other people, but she runs around here like she owns the place :-)  She gets along great with all my other dogs and they play so cute.  She acts like a little puppy sometimes.  Its great.  So thanks again for everything.  I am so happy with sage.  She is one of my favorites.  I will talk with you soon.  Tanja

Donna---Got the pup and he is absolutely everything we could have wished for......Gorgeous!!  Thanks so much and feel free to use us as references for the future...........Dave

Good Morning Donna,

I recently mailed you some photos of Sadie, with a little note.  She is doing well and will be having her 2ND round of shots on Monday.  Her color is starting to change a little bit, not yellow and really not sure what she will be just yet, we hope she stays on the liter side.  She is pretty funny and having a great time with all the other dogs...and you were right Sadie and our border collie have worked thing out.  They really are very gracious with the new puppy... very kind and not rough at all with her.  Donna are all your pups so smart? She makes eye contact like I have never seeing before in a dog at such a your age it is pretty amazing.  I have had dogs all my life with great pedigrees all mostly Golden Retrievers until out Border Collie and I do not ever remember any of them making such wonderful eye contact!  As you can tell we love her very much, I have been taking her for rides in our truck and trying to get her use to most sounds and new things as much as possible.  Our horses love her and she seems to love them - not sure how she figure them out as far as what the heck they are.  Nash our cat does not like any of the dogs.... however Sadie is trying awfully hard to win him over... and not making any points with Nash at all!  We purchased a puppy yard for her so she can be outside with me as much as possible during the day and she just loves the puppy play yard... kinda like a play pin.

I took copies of your new add on Puppy find for a friend of mine who is really interested in purchasing on of your new puppies - I will be giving her all your information today.  Hopefully they will call you soon!

I told my husband come on let get another one and he looked at me like you are crazy lady!!!!! Sadie is pretty much well on her way with house training to!

enjoy the photos when they arrive, mailed them yesterday.

take care,
Jill

Good morning!  Snow White has settled in nicely, and doing wonderful.  Question... were you all potting training?  She is doing very well with that it is almost like someone was already working with her.  I crate train my dogs for the first 6 months and she as of yet has not had 1 accident in her crate!  Either you all were working on that or she is far more intelligent than my other dogs were at puppy age!  I will be sending all her paper work back to you sometime this week... we are still trying to come up with a Name for her!!!!
Everyone loves her... our Choc. lab and her play, and than she take a pretty nice nap after that.  We have a pink collar on her with some Blink Blink and she looks very cute.  She by far prefers me over everyone else and already know my voice and will cry when she hears it, which make me very happy because I purchased her for me... the Choc. is everybody's dog, my husbands says all you have to it pet him and that is it he (Murphy) has no loyalty (ha ha) Jill

Hi my name is Dawn Malcom and we purchased a puppy from you over 4 years ago.  Looking at her papers, her parents are Hit Man Bruzer and Blondella.  I hope I am writing to the same Shannon Acres Labradors as who we purchased from.  The breeder name is listed as Donna Shannon.  I happened to find you again while doing a search.
Anyway, I just wanted to say that our dog, Molly, is such a joy.  She is absolutely beautiful - just what we wanted our lab to look like. Big, Blocky head and eyes that are incredibly expressive.  She is so obedient and only wants to please us.  She gives so much love and joy to us and our son.  We are constantly talking about how wonderful she is and how incredibly smart she is.  Maybe we're just prejudiced, being her "mom and dad."  She is now also a reluctant "big sister" to a lab/golden puppy we adopted in June.  She was unsure at first, but now, although I'm sure she sometimes wonders what happened to her peaceful life, she loves, and even trains, little sis Heidi.
I just wanted to say thank you for our "little girl" and let you know she is well and loved so very much.  When we are looking to add to our family, I will be sure to give you a call.
Thank you Dawn Malcom
P.S.  I attached a picture of Molly on our vacation to Mammoth this year (she loves to camp) and also a picture of her being a big sister.

Donna, I wanted to contact you about getting another dog, we were lucky enough to have one of your dogs from a litter in DEC 1997, she was from a litter of Goldriver Charlotte Brown and Berry's Hershey Chaoco Kill.
We brought her home and our lives changed for the better, she was over the next 10 years of our best friend and most loyal companion.  She went by the name of Cleo and was quintessential loving family dog, she played big sister to our now 4 year old daughter.  Well last week after a vacation to lake tahoe, Where she was swimming in the cold water, Playing in the snow like a puppy opted to suddenly check out a few das after we got home.  She fell asleep under the dinning room table and never woke up.

Our family is heart broken, The house is quite, Walks around Ocean Beach are not nearly as fun.

We are looking to fill the void in our home in the next few months, After looking on line and thought all of our records I found your ex-husband, then your daughter who was kind enough to give out your cell number, Hence the phone call.

Thank you again for making the last 10 years so enjoyable.

THE SHY PUP IN THE GROUP SOLD OUT OF GINGER & CANE
Hello Donna
I apologize for not emailing sooner.  All is well and Hope is growing into a wonderful companion.  Once her shyness lessened with me she showed her true identity - goofy upside down silly puppy.  She's very paw-sy and very intelligent.  She can fetch her leash, my car keys, my rucksack-backpack: and she learned on her own how to open the door.  Its a push down lever handle latch- which now must be always locked to prevent her from usage.  She's learned colors, numbers/counting, and different words/phrases.  She remains shy around new people and new situations/areas but she's improving with social exposure which is confidence building.  She works at her own pace and is so willing to please she's a joy to be around.  She's come out of her shell nicely with interaction, compliments, adoration, and supportive hugs & pats- all help to bolster and maintain her up beat flowering ego.  I'm proud of her and love her very much.  Thank you ever so much.

Puppy photos for me tend to be either blurry (because the dog is in motion) or taken on sly when the puppy is sleeping.  I was lucky to capture these 2 she's such a poser.

Hi Donna,
Becky Corter here.  Just wanted to write and tell you how wonderful Max is doing.  He is a pup out of Manly and Clover.  He is only 6 mths old and he is already trained in all of his commands and we did not even have to potty train him.  He has never messed in the house or his pen.  He is wonderful.  We see that you still have a sister of his.  To bad we did not have the money or we would get her too!  Your dogs are wonderful!!!

I also see that you have Manly up for sale.  Did you have his hips OFA'D yet.  If possible we would like a copy of his OFA and Clovers.  I forgot to get copies when we got MAx.  I have attached a picture.  We will keep you updated on his growth.  We know he is going to turn out to be a beautiful dog!!!

Dear Donna,
I just wanted to write and thank you for the 2 puppies that we bought
from you. Kobe & Trinity have been a joy to our life.  They will be 7
years old in November and we can't believe that time has flown by so
quickly.   Both are so gentle and loving. Yet, love to play and have
fun.
Hope all is well with you!
In appreciation,
Pam and Albert Misajon

Haley is now housebroken and does great in her crate at night.  Walks well on a leash. The only problem is barking outside.  She barks at the backdoor to come back in.  Haley even tries turning the knob to the door with her mouth.  It has gotten better over the last day or two took a different approach.  Rather than squirting her with the water bottle I put her in the crate for ten minutes by herself, no other dogs in the garage with her.  That has done well no barking at the door, she now goes and plays with the other dogs.  Haley has done very well fitting in with the dogs, gets along great!!!!  We will start obedience classes soon.

Thanks again,

Patty Gupton

Hi Donna,
Just thought I would send you a couple of photos of Lucy. She is an awesome little girl. Her temperament is the best of any dog I have ever owned. She is easily trained and the sweetest girl. Everyone comments on her excellent behavior and her beauty. I don"t know if you kept any of her baby pics; but I sure would love to see them if you did.
